Tom Allen - Project Manager/Estimator

Tom started his sheet metal career working in Sonoma and Marin counties in Northern
California in 1997. At this time he was taught by enduring masters of the trade the skills,
craftsmanship, and value of hard work. His experience there consisted of mainly using copper
on high end homes and wineries with fine attention to custom details. In 2003, Tom moved to
Oregon where he started working on commercial sheet metal projects. With the skills and
understanding he had possessed, he traveled the state working on high profile commercial jobs
bringing his custom and innovative style to each project. His performance and ability to work
well with general contractors, owners, and architects earned him a reputation of quality and
confidence that led to a nomination in 2011 by the AIA for a craftsmanship award. Along with
other nominees, he was considered through a process of recommendations and body of work.
The results of this process led Tom to be presented with The AIA Craftsmanship Award. Since
that time he has continued his pursuit of excellence in learning new and innovative architectural
metal systems. Tom continues his work here at Aerial Sheet Metal while progressing in the
industry, he brings honesty, experience, and a knack for design to every project.
